The Devil's Tower near Sundance, Wyoming By Millie

The Devils Tower
I photographed this legendary tower when visiting Wyoming in 2007.
In 1906 President Theodore Roosevelt declared it the first National Monument in
the United States. Rising 867 feet, and because of it's unusual columns, it is
visited by over 5,000 climbers every year - from all over the world.
I have visited this area many times and never seize to be amazed by this
wonder of nature, born over 60 million years ago as magma.
