ARTIST'S STATEMENT

The world of animals has been a source of humor, wonder and happiness all my life. Raised on an isolated ranch in Northeastern Wyoming state, I saw more animals in my young life than I ever saw humans - they were my source of entertainment and solace. In later years as a self taught artist, I began with landscapes and quickly knew they were empty to me without the antics of wildlife in them. The world of animals takes us to the primitive and away from the hectic world we live in. All the beasts of the world keep us in touch with wonders we can only dream of; a world of serenity or savagery, but always constant - even in a crowded inner city. I enjoy very much bringing the wildlife and wilderness to you in my artwork. Artist Millie Carrée
